TIME:
About 5 years after current season (Season 11).
Premise:
The Winchester brothers have died trying to take down Amara/Darkness; Dean found himself unable to kill her and Sam was distracted by his brother’s hesitation – which got him killed. Dean, after watching Sam die, was shocked out of his inability to kill Amara, he manages to kill Amara and end up dying as well from the blast that occurred as her vessel exploded. Since the New Death has decreed that if the Winchesters died this time, they would never be brought back – Castiel would never be able to resurrect them.
Lucifer was let out as per their agreement, he finds a new vessel that can contain him and takes over Hell. Crowley is smuggled out from the few demons that still believe Crowley to be their true king. He is now a fugitive, hiding and biding his time.
Castiel went back to the Academy, told Jody and Donna, who ended up taking Ben and Claire in under their wing. Jesse eventually joined them (how, not sure yet). Ben took it personal because he had just finally been learning about Dean when Dean died. Claire had lost two adults that were like uncles to her. Castiel had lost his purpose for a long time.
When Amara died, there was a tear in reality which lead to purgatory, in this place, the monsters were starting to trickle out. United States military showed up, utterly unprepared to handle the new world. There were bombs at the site, but nothing stopped those monsters. Eventually a wall is built and everything is covered up, no one has an idea of what has happened – except for the conspiracy rags.
Angels have decided that Earth is no longer a place they cared about, especially since Amara is gone, Lucifer has taken over hell. Without God still, everything is kinda in place. Except for a small band of regenade angels; they keep watch over this wall. Things are sort of okay for five years, except the Angels do not realize how many of those monsters and demons have been chipping at those walls.
Meanwhile, Ben and Claire have been out on hunts, they have been watching the cases and now they are starting to pile.
A report comes back from the wall. It has broken through.
Some demons show up at this time to kill Jody and Donna – while Ben and Claire are gone on their hunt – so when they return, there is a message: except in another language that Ben and Claire do not know, but Castiel does. It is Enochian, and it is a challenge and taunt aimed at Castiel himself.
He pushes everyone into the bunker since it is the safest place for everyone.
Alex von Styne is out at the walls, he goes back to find Castiel and give the reports – he is the one who was able to take over and put everyone to the rights while reminding Castiel of his purpose: to protect Claire and humanity.
While this happens, Lucifer starts unleashing his hell through purgatory, the walls have completely broken.
